My approach is to make the experience of learning music as fun and engaging as possible. Music has so much potential for creative expression and we strive to connect with that in my lessons. The theory and fundamentals are all very important tools, which I teach, but I want you to be inspired and enjoy the process first and foremost.

I am comfortable teaching in many styles including Pop, Rock, Blues, R &B, Funk, Jazz, Soul and Folk, on both acoustic and electric guitar.  I tailor the lessons to suit you or your child's specific tastes and interests and we will work together to meet your goals; whether it is playing the “Stairway to Heaven” solo note for note, playing James Taylor songs for your kids at the campfire, or learning how to write your very own songs.  I love it all and just look forward to sharing the exciting process of learning music with you.
